Captain Ron initially created Buck Powder to attract deer because he was frustrated with the results he was getting with existing products, especially the lack of daytime photos. Once the attractant was perfected, Captain Ron started working on making Buck Powder into a meal replacement powder for deer. The goal was to create an attractant that would also help deer grow as big and healthy as possible.
Why does Buck Powder come in jugs instead of bags?
The packaging allows for a longer shelf life and for Buck Powder to have more fat than it could if it were sold in bags. More fat not only makes Buck Powder taste better, but provides energy deer need to grow.
